Justin Bieber is a dad.. So what? -_-

I got annoyed with all the Justin Bieber news going around the net as if he's the only issue around. So with that -and to shut some friends up- I decided to research about it (since I don't usually watch or read news).

Okay, one thing straight. It's either the girl is WAY STUPID, or really has grounds

Way Stupid
Filing a case like this to someone who has a high profile is suicide if you can't back it up. I mean seriously, they won't just let you off like "It's fine, no worries" and "we understand". Of course they understand, that's why they'll fuck you up by retaliating with lawsuits such as libel, defamation and perjury to name a few. Not only that, you'll get thrown into jail and just made your life miserable in so many ways.

Real grounds
If she has real grounds? kudos to her. She may have some grounds or there may be some truth -to an extent- to her story. If this is something any normal and/or die-hard fan can make, this would've been done way way back. It only takes ONE act of stupidity to take down something you've worked for in your whole life. I guess this ONE act of stupidity of JB marks the end of his teen-idol career and would have to focus on singing baby lullabies and sesame street songs in the future. And seriously man, you fucking up a retard-looking-19-year-old female? out of all the fans you have out there? there's something wrong with your eyes, or your brain. Then again, in Filipino, there's this saying "walang maganda't panget sa titing galet" which literally means "there's no beautiful or ugly for an angry/erected penis".

Facts:
After some search, it turns out he DID say something about being a dad in an interview -as narrated in ClevverTV- that JB wanted to be a young father. I guess he's about to be one.

So there you have it. Now all you JB die-hards that wants to be his wife can sulk in a corner and cry. The rest of the fans can only hope for the better.

I'm going to get bashed with this but who cares.

I'll get one thing straight. I don't have anything against JB. I'm not a fan, nor a hater. He's got looks and voice, I'll give him that. What's annoying is the die-hard fans who literally would want to die just to see him. They don't realize that it's because of them that there are those who hate the guy for it. I've never heard of anyone had so much hatred and so much fans all at the same time.

So a piece of advice to JB (as if he'd read this). If you feel like fucking someone to relieve your stress, quit your career.If you quit, you can fuck all you want and there won't be any stress at all.

For the rest of you out there, instead of fuzzing all over JB, think about the economy and how you could contribute. I find the Wall Street protest a better argument than this. I may not blog about it? But my time is with it.

Silence of Love

I found this commercial that became a viral video off the internet (actually from YouTube), and it is one hell of a commercial.

The commercial is about a deaf and mute father trying to communicate with his rebellious daughter and gives up his life in order to save her. This greatly impacted me considering I grew up without a father.

Even though it's a Thai life insurance commercial, I think they pointed out something that society continues to ignore. This is more than an advertisment, this is a message to everyone who keeps taking for granted their father's love to them.

Hurricane Irene - Another day for me

Hurricane Irene is the very first hurricane I experienced here in the US. As usual, just like the time of storms in the Philippines, I kept me, my family and some friends updated with what's the latest with Hurricane Irene.

Me and my mom evacuated to my aunt's place by choice. Probably it was a good move too since the city of Newark (right next to Elizabeth which is where I live) had a mandatory evacuation and we were told that our apartment's location was a flood prone area. Dur

ing the hurricane, I also got word that power lines went down in the city of Elizabeth cutting all power and phone lines in the midst of the storm.

Anyway, when I settled at my aunt's house, I managed to setup 2 computers with 2 monitors each to monitor each and every source I've got for the storm. I had Stormpulse giving me continuous update of the storm through satellite radar. I've got CNN and AP on my twitter. I was logged on Weather.com's live stream and kept flipping channels to CBS 2, ABC 7, CNN and Fox News.

I managed to gather a large amount of information about what was happening while Hurricane Irene was a category 2, until it's touchdown in North Carolina up until it moved north to New York.

After the storm passed our house here in Union, New Jersey, I managed to take some videos of the flooding around the area and while the Fire Department responded to it. I submitted most of the shots I got to CBS 2, ABC 7 and also CNN which was all featured in their special telecast as they kept on monitoring Hurricane Irene's movement.

After CNN saw my iReport video, they vetted it and used it at their telecast, then also interviewed me about the situation in our area and managed to quote what I answered and is part of an article of CNN's Tom Cohen.

NOW PLAYING - No Good by Stevie Hoang

Alright! Just revamped my blog site and it looks GREAT! Anyway! On to the post!

This is the first time I'm writing a review here in my site. The blog title may seem "No Good" but that doesn't mean that I find this iCarly episode no good at all. On contrary, I find this one as one of the best episodes they've come up so far. It just so happens that I felt playing that song along while I was writing this (lol).

ANYWAY, The reason for this review is because a friend of mine kept on going and going about this iCarly premiere episode that made her lose her mind.

So many have watched the premiere of "iLost My Mind" of iCarly last August 13. Honestly? If I would rate it, it'd be 4.5 out of 5. It's a great episode to actually anticipate. The only thing that made me hold back from giving this a perfect 5 were:

- release date was too far from previous episode

- the unknown fact of how the fans of iCarly (inside the story) knew about the kiss between the two protagonists.

- why didn't they just let Spencer be a guy and sign Sam out (though this scene was fun lol)

- how they got the TV in the mental hospital work as if iCarly got control of it it (but I guess that's where fiction comes in lol)

- the first half of the episode felt like the characters were a bit off (though I think that's just me trying to observe things more lol)

But nevertheless, the situation was really unexpected (one of the things that makes me watch Dan's creations). My view now on this episode of iCarly is that they really got the essence of a mental institution (less the over security thing with automatic roll-up gates coming down lol).

Jim Parsons also played great in this episode, something I was really looking forward to. In my opinion, he should be a regular at iCarly.

Carly and the gang should bust him out of that mental institution and let him live at their apartment for the time being and see what kind of things he and Spencer could be doing along the succeeding episodes (hahaha). Even as a small role in the episode, he really made an impression of a mental patient.

Of course the very climax of this episode, was at the end where Freddie suddenly kisses Sam in an effort to let everyone know that his feelings should be considered as well. Something not everyone was expecting especially knowing what Freddie and Sam's relationship were in the whole series. This is actually where I could give a two thumbs-up scene that catches everyone off guard, and definitely made everyone get excited about the following episodes. I guess this really is a new chapter of their lives?

But some part of me made me ask myself, "Could this really happen between friends?" Sharing my point of view, I'm seeing this in an angle (and also basing on personal experience), where I think Freddie is just playing along the situation without knowing it himself yet. It's one of those "spur of the moment" things where you get all hyped up with everything and then in the end you'd end up saying "what the hell was I thinking?!". They're both still in a world revolving around a kiss that shocked them both and then just trying to get their opportunity out of it and trying to make it work especially since they are friends.

But if you'd make predictions out of the other three episodes that's coming out, it would seem (to me) that it's going to swing from a Seddie situation, to a Creddie situation. Here are my prediction sets:

SET A:

iLost My Mind - Freddie kisses back Sam

iDate Sam & Freddie - Freddie and Sam tries to make the most of it and actually enjoys their new relationship

iCan't Take It - Carly gets annoyed of the "new chapter" in their lives (as probably hinted at iLost My Mind) and actually realizes what she feels about Freddie

iLove You - Becomes an episode where Carly can't take it and confesses what she feels for Freddie.

SET B:

iDate Sam & Freddie - Freddie and Sam tries to make the most of what they have, but isn't really enjoying it.

iCan't Take It - Either one of them (Sam or Freddie) can't take each other's company and their relationship goes downhill

iLove You - Freddie realizes that he really loves Carly

SET C:

Same as Set B but on iLove You - Freddie realizes that he really loves Sam.

Which would you actually think that's going to happen? If you'd ask me I'm going with Set A. Let's see if these scenarios actually does come out. I may be wrong, but hey, it makes it more interesting if you think of it this way doesn't it?

Anyway, that's it for me reviewing this episode of iCarly. A very first review to iCarly I made, probably I can do more, but who knows. I have to continue and finish Battlestar Galactica. So if you guys want to know what happens next between the iCarly gang, wait for the following episode "iDate Sam & Freddie" on September 10, 2011 (Got the sked from wikipedia).

What would you do if you ruled the world?

Well personally I'd first introduce world peace (LOL). Hahaha.

Well basically I just feel like ruling the world right now. I don't know I just have this feeling that some time I can probably make a change.

Anyway, I'm kinda disappointed earlier that thunder woke me up during my sleep. Had a hard time getting back to sleep, but the weird thing is that, I literally changed positions in my sleep. I can't remember if I did that when I was trying to get back to sleep or if it was during my sleep. Spooky. All I could remember was turning off the TV because DirecTV doesn't have any reception because of the hard rain (sucks to have them in a storm).

Yesterday, I watched iCarly's new episode "iLost My Mind" and it was epic. Many may have predicted that something like that kiss in the end would have happened. A friend of mine was extremely shocked and told me she almost fainted lol (talk about addiction). But it was a very good episode. Something you could really have waited for. The downside though is that, you need to wait for a month to watch the next episode. Thanks a lot @NickelodeonTV and @DanWarp for making fans wait again lol. Have nothing against it, though I think that's a bit harsh for those Seddie fans hahaha.

Comedies they create are great that's why I watch iCarly and Victorious whenever I have the free time. But for now, I'll have to skip this blog again and go back to finishing Battlestar Galactica on Netflix! hahaha!

I hate this love song.

So it's 2:04 in the afternoon here. Blogging in class since I'm well ahead of the tasks I need to do. Srsly, they should consider having students take an assessment test before actually making them enroll in a class like this. If this class wasn't a requirement? I wouldn't have taken it >_>

ANYWAY

So what have I been up to? I've been doing some online audio LIVE podcasts at http://www.animealliance.asia/ph/live.html . It's becoming popular with an average of 20-ish listeners. Not bad for a start IMO. I hope it could match up to those who gets like, 200 listeners/cast!

But before that, some time 3 weeks back I think... I went to Dunellen for the first time. Then and there have I actually stepped into one of an actual arcade shops here in the East Coast. How I missed Initial D Version 3, Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 3 and Daytona USA. I was disappointed though. The machines aren't well maintained as they advertised it would be, but it was playable. But what disappointed me more was the players around it. You'll have to catch your jaw from touching the ground if you see them play. You'll have to be an extra-noob to actually be on the same level as them. You can't even use the term "noob" at them since they're WAY worse than noobs. They can't even finish 2 sectors!! >_

OH! Last last Sunday I totally forgot to blog. I felt goosebumps when I heard the orchestra start!! DAMN how I want to play in an orchestra now. I need to polish my piano skills again and actually try-out? (LOL I wish.. I could dream right?). I listened to Tchaikovsky's violin concerto. It was so good yet so difficult that the lead violinist's strings snapped! They had to stop a bit. It's just weird though for encores, because when the audience started clapping at the end of the music, they walked out of the stage, re-entered, walked out then re-entered again, then walked out then re-entered THEN started playing for a few minutes, then exited, re-entered, exited then re-entered (with bows in between all the re-entry). I mean COME ON!!! I was like "Okay? Are you really leaving or what?" Are encores really like that??? That was the only stupid looking part, other than that, it was a whole different experience!!

I still have alot to say but I need to go to my work since class is ending!

I will try NOT to discuss my lovelife again hahahaha

Only Heaven Knows...

This is one of the reasons why I don't want to fall anymore...

I don't know what to do now... at first we were doing well... in a sense we get along with each other smoothly... but.. I dunno.. there are times that she shuts me down, pushes me away and as if as I cannot be trusted with anything at all... I know I may not do things that much, but I try to be there for her but she doesn't even let me close... I agree time isn't something I have to give for now... but at times I want to know more of her... it seems that I get pushed away... it worries me more and I'm losing my confidence, hope and everything... I'm going nuts thinking of what might be wrong... is there another... or something else... it's all going in and out of my mind and I can't help it... I try to dig things up and all I get is nothing... I try to dig deeper and I still get nothing... I really don't know what to do now.. it's always

"I'll be okay"

I trusted those words so much but I still can't hide the ping of worry if she is... I trust her enough when she says that... true I may be annoying at times of asking "are you alright" and "are you sure" 10 times or so.. but I think it's also my right to know... And right now... I feel totally helpless and lost... confused... angered... disappointed.. worried... sad... deluded... drained... exhausted... exasperated... tormented... perplexed.. uneasy and everything synonymous to it... but most of it is really helpless... the thought that I can't do anything to her... can't hug her... can't really say to her that I'm terribly worried... can't even show my emotions to her personally... and now I'm being pushed away... separated by a vast amount of water, and still being pushed to be seperated... I only wish I could swim through those treacherous waters, jump over that wall and tell her it's alright... and now I feel as if I've lost the will power to survive... the last of my sanity slipping away as I get pulled into darkness once again for the fear I might lose someone... someone dear.. I've lost someone once... twice and thrice... I just hope it doesn't happen again... I just hope history ends here and does not repeat itself on me... I've gone through alot already... I've had enough.. I want it to stop... end it here... start another revelation of my life... compose it with this someone I think would be perfect for me... it's all I wish for... I'll try and dedicate my time as I get it... and try to be with her whenever I can... and whenever i get there... make my dream into reality... I just hope all those could be fulfilled... but now it's also starting to slip away... I'm losing my grasp... I'm trying not to give up... but the confluence is against me... it's pushing me back and away... making me give up... I just hope she won't and that would give me enough strength to hang on and face my everyday life... and tell her I love you... truly, dearly...

A Day Trip to Boston

Okay last spring break, I got the chance to fly to Boston, Massachusetts which was supposed to be Washington D.C.. Since the flight to DC was tight, my mom made a last minute check-in for us Massachusetts that's why I ended up touring Boston lol.

There are two obvious things that I noticed in

Boston when I went there.

1. Wasn't a great time to tour Boston when the spring season is just starting. True it may not be snowing in Jersey anymore, but it flurried in Boston.

2. They have a LOT of Dunkin' Donuts. Every block, and I mean EVERY block around downtown Boston had Dunkin' Donuts.

Anyone going to Wonderland?

Other than that, the trip to Boston was great. Used the tram to get around the sightseeing areas around downtown. I went to New England Aquarium (well outside the aquarium lol), Quincy Market, USS Constitution, CHEERS, TD Bank Stadium? (forgot but it was some stadium for several Boston teams).

But what marked my trip there really is the scrumptious LOBSTER I had in some restaurant there (really bad with resto names). It was near the harbor and near the New England Aquarium. It's one of the best lobsters I had in my life!

My trip to Boston was really short since it was only a day trip, first flight in, last flight out. If you guys really want to get a feel of Boston, you need to stay there for a minimum of two days. I also heard from our tour guide that there's a hotel there that is REALLY CREEPY and claims to be haunted by everyone who checks in there. The ridiculous thing is that, it still operates and many people actually check in just to be freaked out! LOL.

I'll blog my next travel which I hope would be somewhere in the West Coast!

NOW PLAYING - Lucifer by SHINee

Okay so I'm in a so-so mood.

I got lots of things to plan ahead and this isn't just some petty event. I'm talking about one of the biggest events in the Philippines.

I'm so happy to be part of the organizing team of the largest pop-culture convention in Southeast Asia. Currently I'm handling international contacts that can be potential supporters of the Philippine ToyCon. It's become the pride of the organization I'm working with to be with the ToyCon team since 2009.

But before ToyCon comes around the corner, we've got a lot of things to prepare for. Numerous line-up of events before ToyCon which we plan to be preludes and road-shows for the largest convention in the metro. Aside from those projects, future projects together with one of the professional event organizers of the country just boomed up and planning has started at the early quarter of the year.

This is becoming a fruitful year for the organization I'm in, and even though I'm here in the United States, I'm doing my share into working on more progress for our international publicity and partners. I just hope all will go well and we could get Project 23319 to be a go.

I'm just babbling around here coz I dunno what else to say. I'm ecstatic with what we have right now. So excited that it's making me want to go back to the Philippines already.

But aside from that, I was kinda "devastated" though when I heard from our partner that we cannot bring in that band/artist that we were targeting. It seems that the foreign group is considered to be a platinum artist now and is charging us around $1.5M if we're not going with the local promoters which is Universal Records and $1M if we ask a partnership with UR. Right now we're debating if we should just look for other artists or go with the project and as early as now, solicit to companies who could probably sponsor millions of pesos just to get them in. Just a trivia, $1.5M is roughly 65M pesos. I already have like 11k in my bank, who has the remaining 64,989,000?

But yeah, other than that, all is good with the preparations with ToyCon. I'll be working on the next video teaser to be released for the 150 days to ToyCon and hopefully we're going to get a green light in our operations room to start the actual ground work for the biggest pop-culture event of the country!
